DEP-03
Economic Policy
Growth, jobs and enterprise that reach less privileged youths and women.
The department covers the economic pillar: income, jobs and enterprise. It looks at who benefits from growth, what keeps small firms from expanding, how public money is spent, and how trade and regional integration change jobs and prices for households in Cameroon and the wider CEMAC region. Its entrepreneurship unit runs our mentoring work with young founders.

Questions we are asking
- Why do so few micro-enterprises grow beyond five employees?
- Which public spending reaches the poorest households most effectively?
- How will the AfCFTA affect jobs in Cameroon's secondary cities?
