Privacy policy

What personal information we collect, why, and your rights.

Who we are

The Triple Helix Foundation is a declared association based in Yaoundé, Cameroon. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We follow Cameroon's Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on the protection of personal data.

What this website collects

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set cookies. It does not store anything you type into its forms. When you use a form, the site prepares a WhatsApp message on your own device, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it in WhatsApp.

Third-party services

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against attacks. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address. Messages you send us by WhatsApp or email are handled under those services' own terms.

Information from our projects

When people take part in our projects or research, we collect only what we need, explain why, and ask for consent. Research data are stored securely, made anonymous before analysis wherever possible, and never sold or shared for marketing.

How long we keep information

We keep contact messages for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and project and research records for as long as our funders, ethics approvals or the law require.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to its use. Contact us by phone or WhatsApp on +237 654 207 551, or by email at [email protected].

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date.
